President – Justice Aboagye Sarpong
The Current President of the Union is Justice Aboagye Sarpong a student of African University College of Communications. He has BA Communications and is pursuing MA Journalism. His leadership style is goal oriented and a unifier.
The Treasurer – Kingsley Kofi Yeboah
Kingsley Kofi Yeboah is a 3rd year marketing student of the University of Professional Studies. He is the custodian of the union’s assets. He is a team player and a strong proponent of financial discipline.
Coordinating Secretary – Rhoda Adu Gyamera
Rhoda Adu Gyamera is the coordinating secretary of the union. As coordinating secretary, she is the administrative secretary of the union and responsible for coordinating all GUPS local secretariat and organizing them for GUPS activities. Rhoda holds a BSc in Procurement and supply chain management from the University College of Management Studies and is service personnel at the Electricity Company of Ghana.
Women’s Commissioner – Nancy Adjoa Acquah
Nancy Adjoa Acquah is the Women’s Commissioner of the Union. She is currently pursuing a BSc in Accounting at the University College of Management Studies. She is responsible for coordinating women in the union in helping them realize their potentials and developing their skills.
Press and Information Secretary – Amanda Koranteng
Amanda Koranteng as the Press and Information Secretary is the link between the union and the media. She is a third-year student at Knutsford University College. She believes in volunteerism as a means of national development.
Programs and Project Coordinating Secretary – Samir Osman
Samir Osman is the Programs and Project coordinator responsible for carrying out all programs and activities of the union. He holds a BSc in Human resources management from Jayee University college and is currently doing his national service at National communications Authority.
Financial Controller – Stanley E. Torkoh
Stanley E. Torkoh is the financial controller and strategist of the union. He holds a BSc Accounting from the University of Professional Studies Accra.
International Relations Secretary – Otopa Okusubea S.
Otopa Okusubea S. is the International Relations Secretary of GUPS, she is the dynamic factor in the union’s relations with other professional bodies abroad. She is a product of University College of Management Studies with BSc Procurement and Supply Chain Management and has considerable knowledge in student related international matters and is currently doing her national service at Ghana Airport Company limited.
